A surf lifesaver is a trained volunteer that patrols our beaches on the weekends. Surf lifesavers undertake a number of roles including aquatic rescues providing first aid and emergency care and safety to all the public. There is also a number of other roles that are rewarding, you could lead a fit and healthy lifestyle, become trained in aquatic safety skills, compete in surf sports and make new friends. The biggest positive is giving something back to your local community.

The club offers many awards to become a patrolling member, so you can obtain your Bronze Medallion which is recognized as a Cert II public safety. You need to be a minimum age of 15 years. The course entails:

  • safety & well being
  • Radio operations and communications
